day 2 off the sigs.....

My last of addictions...sigs...and i'm kicking their ass!

I'm used to certain stress levels due to my recovery from the last five months or so...I'm used to the anxiety...strange fysical experiences due to detoxing...i'm used to mental overdrives and how to slow them down....i'm aware of my mental traps wich cause me to relapse in all sorts of ways....

The last months i came of bingedrinking twice per week.....smoking pot every day the whole day for 12 years (i'm 25)....coffee and red bull (been drinking that stuff for about twelve years two daily)...internetporn (still hard to share but that has been an addiction as well)....and going in extremes with practically everyting i do...

so actually....i became used to the pain...feelings of loss....

so far this is kinda easy....cause i know my major cause of relapsing giving up sigs....and that's my girlfriend...but i've been working on my attachmentissues in general and in specifics her....and now that i'm able more and more to let her go....i'm able with let go sigs....

and....that's my main motivation...i'm tired of being addicted to them....the addiction causes me more stress and pain that the process of braking the habit....

neural reprogramming.....you just gotta love it...

Hey good work!! I found that when I quit smoking my anxiety (was pretty mild anyway) went away. I always had this anxious knawing feeling, sort of like a skin crawl but then when I quit I felt so much better!!

The thing that worked the best for me was the Alan Carrs Easy Way to Quit smoking book. I know it sounds hokey that a book could help but it was awesome and it really works. I know a ton of skeptical readers who quit smoking witht his book. It makes it all a little easier. NOt sure why

Keep up the good work, your body will be soo pleased with you!!

Coming Clean-Congrats on 2 days. I quit 15 days ago. I think the first 3 days were the toughest!

Shelly-One of my colleagues quit smoking after reading that book!
