Hi, I'm brand new to this site and I just thought I would post to introduce myself. I found this site while doing a search on the third step prayer and I liked what I read, so here I am.
My name is Val (recovering drug addict) and I just celebrated six months clean on July 16, 2009. This is not my first attempt at recovery, but I do hope it will be my last. I have a sponsor and attend NA meetings and am involved in a couple of other recovery websites, one of which I have been involved with for many years. I have always found it helpful to have a place to go and share 24-7 and a place to fill my spare time in a positive way.
Anyway, looking forward to meeting some of you and to getting involved in the site. Have a great day everyone!
