I just wanted to say that today is my 8th day sober! I truly never thought that I would say that!! It is only just the start of my journey but with the people from this wonderful site and from the new friends I have made at AA I am going to beat this thing one day at a time!!! I might not always say anything but I do come out and READ AND READ!!! Many times I am tears reading stories because they are my stories too and I feel like I am not alone and there is hope!!! Everyday I wake up and thank God I found this site!!! So from the bottom of my heart, and even though we might not know each other yet, I say "Thank you" ! Thank you to every single one of you for sharing your stories with me and a little part of your life!!! They get me through the day and night!!!!

Thank you for sharing your ESH, you are helping others as well by sharing how you are staying sober ODAAT!!!!! BTW AA saved my life as well, that Face2Face support is what got me through it all, I could have never stayed sober isolating on a computor, it works for some, but I spent the last 5 years of my drinking isolating, I needed the support of people who I could see really had a twinkle in thier eye and thier laughter was more then LOL and I got real hugs when I needed one. Do not get me wrong I love SR, but SR would have never kept me sober alone, it does work for some folks though which is awesome.
