Depending on what you're addicted to, you may want to give AA or NA meetings a shot.

Welcome to SR! I'm glad you found us. Lots of good info here, check out the different forums for advice.

Hi Kelly, and welcome to SR!

I use AA, NA might be helpful to you too. I just find it important to have a plan, anything besides drifting aimlessly in recovery, I hope you find something that works for you.

Hi Kelly,

It's hard for others to understand addiction, and that's one of the reasons that I come here.

SR is my lifeline, and I'm glad you've joined us.

I go to NA and AA, especially meetings I don't like, and meetings where I feel 'uncomfortable'.

It really prepares me for daily life in today's world where there are so many things I don't like and that make me uncomfortable.

I get a lot out of meetings where people say stuff I don't agree with, and where people say stuff that sometimes really pisses me off.

I'm kind of crazy, but if I can learn 'acceptance' in meetings, I can take it with me out into the world.

It really works for me.
