Serenityqueen's Mother passed away this morning
Judy wanted me to post that her mother passed away this morning at 6:10. Judy was with her when she was called home and she said it was extremely peaceful and she was comfortable.
Please lift Judy, her brother Mike, Aunt Connie and the rest of her family up as they go through this extremely difficult time. Pray for peace and the Lord's mercy as they make arrangements and try to reconcile loosing their mother. If you will recall, Judy lost her sister, Linda, to alcoholism several years ago. Before her mother died, she spoke of Linda and knew she would soon be seeing her again.
Judy said the nursing home really stepped up and were gracious and compassionate (she had some problems with them recently and was on the verge of moving her mother when she took a turn for the worst) and the Hospice workers were amazing.
Judy's sober birthday is July 21st. She will be celebrating 4 years of being happy, joyous and free.
When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned, the flames will not consume you.

My deepest condolences to Judy and all her family at this difficult time of sorrow. You are a blessing to her right now and obviously a good friend. Thank you for taking the time to let all of us at SR know of her deep loss. My prayers and support is with all of them and you for this.
