It’s a new day!

I managed to find SR yesterday, read a lot and just tried to gather myself after my relapse. Today I feel pretty good psychologically, although the effect of alcohol from the weekend binge is still a little present.

It’s time to get some work done, take care of the dog, stay busy, get my Antabuse, maybe do some fishing later in the week. Trying is half the battle and I have done it before for quite a long time so I’m keeping the faith, staying strong and NEVER giving up.

Thanks Everyone!

Dan

Good post. It is a new day.

I'm starting to feel more like my old self and that's a good feeling. Good for you for not giving up after a relapse. Me, too.

Yes it Is a new day! New opportunities, new challenges, new choices for today- do I stay sober or drink today? I choose to remain sober! God grant me the strength to see that through TODAY. Isn’t it cool that we can choose to make that choice every day- no one forces us to drink or use!
