3 weeks today.
Hey what's up. This is 3 weeks sober today. I'm 26. I don't think I've done 3 weeks clean since I was 19 or 20. I figured I could never post on these forums until I myself felt I was sober long enough not to focus on it so much (first 2 weeks for me). I've known i've had a problem for years and have made many attempts to stop.
I guess I joined because it's so much easier for addicts to talk to each other about our addictions. Alcohol, pills, coke, heroin, they are all drugs and we pretty have the same quirks about them.
My health has definitely suffered as well. I should plan on seeing my doctor soon. Anxiety attacks, palpitations, liver pains, heart murmur. They have significantly subsided after these 3 weeks.
I'll keep it brief for now but I just hope to listen, share stories, and get through this thing called addiction (for me alcoholism).
