I found out today that my Mom has a hole in her heart and needs to have surgery. She has had a terrible cough for the last 3 months and has had many tests done. Her sleep study test showed that she is only getting 75% oxygen while sleeping; anything under 90 is dangerous. I pray that this has not caused permenant lung damage.
My Mom is my best friend and still seems so young, no one would ever know by looking at her or hanging out with her that she is 67 years old.

Please pray for my Mom!!!

I know how you feel about your mom.
I love my mom as well and one time she needed me but I was too messed up to go to the hospital to be with her.
She has forgiven me after she learned the reason why. But I will never fail her again.

Sorry to hear that about your mom, Suzette. I worry about my mom as well but for different reasons. She turns 80 this year. Watching her walk makes me nervous because she's so wobbly on her feet and refuses to use a cane. I worry that one day she'll fall and break a hip. Prayers comin' your way. Have a good day!

My Mom will be seeing the cardioligist in the morning to find out how he will go about doing the surgury. I went to see her yesterday and she was wearing her oxygen; it made me feel sad. I hope after the heart surgury she won't have to wear it anymore.

I'm feeling depressed over it and I'm having some thought's of drinking as well. They are only thoughts and I will not drink!
