Hi Shorty, Welcome Back!!

FYI
I used to target sobriety periods and was good at stopping for periods. Problem was that my drinking keep getting worse rather than better when I started back up. This time I went in to sobriety with a mindset that I wanted to quit for good. It helped me to get really serious with a recovery program.

Wishing you the best!

Personally never had much luck with the whole "counting days" thing. I had a tendency, once I started to accumlate some "time" to decide, "I've got this under control, I can just drink/use a little and be OK." Never worked out so good. That is why I list my sobriety date as TODAY, in my opinion the only day that really matters. I can't do anything about yesterday, and I don't know what tomorrow will bring. So I just try not to drink or use today, it's been working pretty good for me lately. Take care and welcome back!!

I've started my alcohol free life again...and...again many times. Yet I stayed in addiction treatment and it has gotten better...and...better. Keep at it. You can do it. I have .

What Tyler said!!!!

A year ago...if I said I was looking for me year...I wouldn't have made it. Just worry about today and before you know it, you'll have those 50 days...ONE DAY AT A TIME. I have 13 months now. I'm looking at TODAY......not for the 2 year mark.

Welcome back and good job on 2 days.

Thanks again guys. Life is allways so much better and clearer waking up sober and without a hangover.

As i said the last 3 months... well actually, this year so far has been shithouse.

But now, i have a great job, living back in my small home town with all my family, and ive just met a new beautiful girl, so hopefully that works out!!!

Its wired. I really cant see the point anymore..
Really, what does drinking achieve?
It costs alot, makes you stay up and you wake up feeling like ****...
Its not good for you.... Really, it does nothing but bad.
Since the 21st, ive had 2 beers, about a week apart. The second one(last sunday) gave me a headache by the time i was halfway thru.
