When I stopped drinking I also stopped drinking coke and coffee because of the caffiene. I had coke today when eating hot chips and ended up in the toilet sick. I don't think my body can handle it. I also don't think my body can handle alcohol aswell, the smell of it is actually making me feel sick. My sister is drinking at the moment and she sat next to me and I could smell it and began to feel sick.
And even though I am not feeling well, maybe this is a good thing because now I know what will happen if I consume any of these things.

As someone who spent years gagging before every cigarette but smoked them anyway, or gagging on cheap wine but drinking the cask anyway....I should have listened more to my body and what it was trying to tell me.

Congrats, great to see you have such a healthy attitude. It's amazing how our thinking gets so much better when we are sober. I quit smoking here in the nicotine section after being sober for a while and it has gone great.

maz, I wonder just how many people have smelled booze on me and thought, "this guy really sinks", lol, or how many kisses were just drinken slobbering with women who could only kiss me because their breath was just as bad as mine because we were both drunk?? Gross stuff, I gotta tell ya!! Sorry, gonna lose my lunch now, lol.
