I miss champagne
I was driving home from work tonight thinking, then I started thinking about champagne. I miss champagne. I miss opening up the bottle and hearing it pop and I miss having those little bubbles and the fizz when you pour it into the glass and drinking it with friends....

There's always sparkling cider! And I agree, the fallout just isn't worth it. The thing for me is that I now know that I don't ever want 1 drink, I want many and it's always too many, so it's 0 for me.
I'm alleregic to strawberries. If I eat them, I get hives. I would never even consider eating a strawberry. I'm allergic to alcohol. If I drink it, I turn into a raving ass****.
I think I'm going to take the allergic thing and make it a part of my thinking.
Yeah..that works.

Champagne is a temptation I could do without. Used to drink buckets of it and think I could avoid the hangovers. Its what I drank on top of the champagne that reminds me why I cant go back to those old ways. What can I drink to substitute Champagne anyone?
Romanticizing the murder weapon.
Might something about this be a little bit less than productive?
I ride my bike to my meetings, and I pass more of my old bars and hang outs than I care to count, plus a new one that looks too tempting to be healthy. On the beach, open air, lots of other cool looking people... Ironically, the song blasting from the speakers last week? Another One Bites the Dust by Queen. A reminder to me. Got to pedal on.

then coming up with a believable alibi to justify the suicide!!
i have come to indentify WHY i drank/drugged;
1. Mental escape
2. Emotional relief
3. Physical pleasure
4. Spiritual avoidance
That is exactly opposite of HOW i live today;
1. Sanity
2. Stability
3. Healthy
4. Responsible
Please present yourself with all the evidence before taking that first drink.

I have a saying that I try to apply to a lot of things in life:
Play the tape all of the way through to the end.
I visualize that whatever I am going to do, someone is going to video tape it.
Drinking champagne sounds great... until I play the tape all of the way through.
