30 days..

30 whole days without pills and booze..

Wow, that seemed pretty quick! I wouldn't say my life is night and day compared to 30 days ago, but it's certainly better. We're gearing up for a trip to Hawaii next week so I'm looking forward to getting some meetings in there, seeing what AA is like on the islands!

Thanks to all those with encouraging and supporting posts since I joined about 30 days ago. SR is a great resource and I'm glad you're all here, and I'm happy to be apart of it.

Congratulations on 30 days.

I have a friend who got sober in Hawaii and she said there are so many meetings held right on the beach. Wow, what a way to have a meeting. Have fun!!!!!

That's a great first period of sobriety. Did you do it using a drug rehab or did you do it cold turkey?

sicntired, I didn't use any form of rehab, I just went to an AA meeting and didn't stop going. Tonight will be my 30th meeting.
