Meditation helps me stop thoughts about cravings. Well meditation helps to stop all thoughts, and that can come in handy when I feel that my mind is running on and on without 'me'. I like having a mind that's an benefit rather than and determent.

Please ask your doctor about hypoglycemia
Many alcoholics have that condition....undiagnosed.

You can Google for info and check out those eating plans.

Drinking cold water and Lifesavers
worked well for me...short term.
So did taking action....walking especially.

For about 6 months I followed the eating plan
in "Under The Influence" + recommended
vitamins/supplements found there.
Excellent results.....

At 50 days sober, and bringing home the motorcycle that I could have only bought by saving ALL my drinking money, I KNOW riding it will help my Cravings!!

I'm having sex 3 or 4 times a day to help stave off my cravings............but it WOULD be nice to have a partner.

.

Actually, taking 4500-6000 mg of L-Glutamine, in divided dose, on an empty stomach does it for me.

That made me laugh. On cravings, I do not think I have conciousally (sp?) had any. I have just tried to keep busy but I have drank loadas of tea.
