Hi Karezbear,

Good for you in getting through the night!

Carol's suggestions are excellent! I really, really found it helped to change my daily routines. It did something to help break the 'spell' of ending up in the wine aisle of the grocery store. And, surprisingly, it helped me to get interested in doing other things.

The phrase "glass of wine" sounds so lovely to me.

Seriously, not me.........WHAT a miracle!!!

CONGRATS ON WHAT I HOPE IS NOW 6 DAYS FOR YOU!!!!!!!! WHAT A MIRACLE!!

Today is day # 2,535 w/o alcohol for me.

I say this not to impress you, but impress upon you, recovery is a choice. A new way of live. It's building an entire new character, with no reference to the old one.

It's being kind & gracious, gentle & patient, tolerant & flexible......principles I still struggle with, but apply more & more in my life every single day.

People that know me today can't imagine the old Thomas.

It's really a miracle.......

Think I'll go mountain biking up in the mountains now and thank my Higher Power for my life......a life w/o the urge to drink.

It's really a MIRACLE!!!
