Would you like another bat to help beat yourself up with??

First off, you're admitting you're an alocholic drunk or what ever you want to label it.

Secondly, this is a support site, none of us are going to tell you things that, won't help you or berate you for struggling right now.

Thirdly, change that attitude to I can. None of us as long as we're alive can't climb from the hole we dig ourselves into.

How many meetings did you attend? Did you call your sponsor before you drank again???

Hey fire...

It seems the "bottom" line for you is "if you drink, you die."

It is for me. They told me that in 1997 when I had cirrhosis and was given 6 months

to live. I stopped...and by the grace of God was healthy in 3 months.

A relapse in 2005...my eyes were yellow in 2 weeks.

What we do to ourselves. I stayed drunk...struggled with benders on and off for a

year. Just had a 3 year birthday...my 7th time in the rooms of AA.

Yeah..don't give up! Never!!!!! Ever.

It may seem impossible, but it is "doable."

Without help..I wouldn't bet any of us could do it. But together we can.

I am glad you are staying, Fire!

Prayers going out for you..

Sher

I'm glad you have decided to stay.
I'm struggling with similar thoughts and feelings too.
If you ever would like to get stuff off your chest feel free to message me.
I know that sometimes it can be so frustrating and maybe we can help each other as well as everyone else here.

I know its easier said than done, but try not to beat yourself up too much. I think cancelling your membership would make those feelings bubble over and be proud of the fact atleast you reached out and made that post. its one step close to not keeping it all secret, feeling shameful and eating you up inside, so well done for that.
