Hi all-just checking in
Friends,
I just wanted to check in to let everyone who cares know I am doing very well. I have been sober for over 2 weeks now and going strong. No medications, no therapy, no meditation, no books, no meetings, no nothing. I just woke up one day and realized that my life was terrible and not going well. I was a shell of who I used to be and who I want to be. Then I realized that there was a very easy solution. Stop drinking. Since that moring, I haven't even thought about booze. I have thrown myself back into my old addictions, work, money and success. I am at work by 7AM, not hungover and feeling awesome. I enrolled in a University and am getting my MBA. To all of you who have given me words of love, thank you. I can't decide if I should stay to give others some encouragment, or if it will do any good, but just wanted to let you all know how I am doing. Thanks again and I hope this finds everyone in a good place.

Great going C23! A sober life is awesome, but it certainly has its ups and downs. We just need to hang on, when the going gets tough, and be incredibly grateful when it's smooth sailing. Best of luck to you!
