Hey Shunned, welcome. I think feeling like a stupid imbecile at one time or another is a prerequisite for visiting these boards. I can't tell you how many times I woke up out of an alcohol induced haze and felt like a complete jerk for either drinking again or saying or doing something while I was drunk that was completely out of line.

Pick yourself up - today is a new day. I know it doesn't seem like it now, but things will get better. Do you want to tell us more of your story?

How about a little more information here? How much sobriety did you have when you relapsed? What was going on in your life when you relapsed? Is this your first relapse? What are you doing to prevent another relapse? Inquiring minds want to know.
