I looked back and my last post on 5/17 (if I looked it up correctly) was about my head shaking, and believe me it was. Not completely bobble head, but just trembly. And then I disappear from posting. Guys- I didnt sleep at all that night, and when I got out of bed on 5/18 went straight to the rehab, I didnt want to do anything but get in the car and go- didnt eat or anything (wasnt hungry anyway). a few have mentioned they were worried, and I am sorry about that. Anyway it turned out ok. Sorry about that. Sincerely-

Thanks TommyK- actually this is my first time around- first time sober in over 20 years. I am planning to go to a meeting every day- mine today is at 1pm. I feel very confident I can do this- I usually tackle things pretty hard (like I did my drinking unfortunately). However I know its a 'one day at a time' thing and I am cautious.

I don't think you really owe us an apology. You did what you had to do. I'll share with you what went through my mind. I thought you got pissed at the feedback some of us gave you and decided that you didn't have to listen to our crap any longer. I figured you were on a good binge, getting really high and blaming it on us.

This is one time that I am so happy to say that I was wrong!

I never once thought you took what we said wrong.
I just get that vibe from you dub. I thought you felt bad for upsetting us. We werent really upset. But you know what I mean. I thought you just stepped away cause you didnt want us to ba mad or disappointed in you.
I dont get that overly sensitive vibe from you.
I feel like you took everything we said to heart. Once you started to pay attention and stopped tellin us how awesome we all are. LOL. You rock too. I am so glad you did what you did.
It is really heart breaking to se such an awesome person with such a great attitude and personality just continue to kill themselves slowly.
I got frustrated whne you didnt even acknowledge what we were saying to you. You jst kept postin about how much worse you felt and how much ;ess sleep you were getting. I didnt see any kind of responce to what we were trying to tell you. Thats what got me frustrated. But you were listening. I see that now. I am so relieved you got some help and that you are still continuing to do so.
You are a very nice person from what I have seen and you deserve this so much.
