Antabuse - Day 6
I finally got my antabuse in the mail. First, I need to tell you all that I am not giving medical advice but I am sharing my experiences.
I started taking 200mg of Antibuse on saturday and I feel great. so far I have had no reaction to any hairspray, perfume, toothpaste or anything. The idea of drinking is so far from my mind. Probably because I know I can't have it or I will get real sick. Yesterday I went grocery shopping and it was not until after I passed the booze isle that I realized that I just did not think to go down it. My house is finally clean. I just finished mowing the lawn. I have been going to the gym. I feel like I don't have to worry about being drunk or having a hangover. Now I can do things that being drunk held me back from.
I truly feel like a whole new world has opened up for me. I am sober and I feel like a million bucks. The best part about this, is that even if I want a drink, Antabuse stays in your system for up to two weeks, therefore you can't just crave it, buy it and drink it. I am staying on it for as long as I can and I will keep everyone posted on my new sober experiences.

hey thats great lovin Ive being on antibuse now for 3 months and can wear perfume ( thank goodness lol) I love it to as soon as you take it thats half the battle won re drinking., that to me keeps me sane as I know Im sober and like you can do things like cleaning house and waking up in the morning with NO hangover!!
