Hi Im Sharon and Im an Alcohol.

By the grace of my HP and people
like you here in SR I havent found
it necessary to pick up a drink of
alcohol since 8-11-90.

For that and you I am truely
grateful.


Hurray for modem to modem
recovery. It speaks through
tears, laughter and caring.


I'm thrilled that at any hour
I can find someone to talk to.

Maybe several times a week
I can have tormented thoughts
at three A.M. in the morning.

Do I have to phone and wake
someone up for support?

No, because other sober
insomniacs are online, ready
to help me through the night.

I didn't want a drink, I just
needed the loving support
of the Fellowship. . .

Online meetings are like any
other -- if you get there,
you are welcome there.

I agree wholeheartedly. For me talking online is the easiest method. Being able to offload to others round the clock is so helpful. i think a lot of people are reluctant to talk to an individual, or be in a group environment face to face (inleast initially) so this is ideal. Horray for SR!
