Thumbs up TOPIC: What Kind Of Comfy Bed Sheets Do Newcomers & Oldtimers Use?

Hi Im Sharon and Im an Alcoholic.

Very grateful for my sobriety and
blessed with many wonderful
friends here in SR.

Not only do i love pizza, motorcycles,
tattoos amongst other things, I do
like pretty comfortable sheets for my
bed.

And they have to be red. Luv's red or
burgandy.

Do they make sheets that r cold? lol

I know that sounds funny.....but.....if
u are a woman who is in her menapause
yrs or possibly a hot blooded male....lol
then maybe some cold sheets would serve
the purpose....providing they
make some like that?

When i sleep on my soft comfy sheets
they feel so nice but where i lay under
neath me that spot gets real hot.....
and i mean HOT..! lol Really.

So i am in search for something cold to
lay on at night to cool my body down
when those darn hot flashes flare up.

And ideas?

Have you considered using silk sheets? They work especially well in an air conditioned room! And, they are alot cheaper than a waterbed. Or, satin sheets. More expensive, but certainly worth it!

The satin sheets r cold but my body
heat burns them up too....lol

Never tried silk...hmmmmm.....

Its like the heat uluminates from
inside radiating on top the skin....

No sweat...just heat.....like a heater...lol

Ive had electric blanket on top before as
well as an electric matress cover....so i
could have heat under me or on top me.

Not anymore....lol

I do have a fan next to my bed and a
ceiling fan overhead and AC.

Howabout some cooling coils for the matress. hmmmm

I am enthralled with high thread count Egyptian cotton sheets.......
the most comfortable, durable sheets you will ever find and I imagine you can find them in all colors on the internet...
the cotton breathes....natural fibers are so much better!

If I were you...I would keep an ice pack handy and a fan....
for when you need to cool off....

I always do thing in a combination of earth tones and jewel tones because they are my favorite.....I am sure you could find a burgundy colored set...or should I say ruby?
