Thumbs up TOPIC: Is There Someone You Miss Alot? A Loving Grandparent, Sister, Uncle?

Hi Im Sharon and Im an Alcoholic.

By the Grace of my HP and people
like you here in SR I havent found
it necessary to pick up a drink of
alcohol since 8-11-90.

For that and you I am truely
grateful.

From the day we were born
we have many people that have
been placed in our paths for
special reasons.

Parents that brought us into the
world, to siblings, Aunts, Uncles.

Grandparents, boyfriends, girl-
friends, bosses, customers, pets
and so on.

Do you have a special someone
that may have passed on or moved
away or living right next door to
you that means alot to you?

Someone you recall having a special
meaning to you?

For myself i had a Paw Paw (my mom's
dad) whom i use to ride down to his
house on my little bike to get some
parsley he had growing at the bottom
of a clothes line pool.

He is just one person in my life but
I have those fond memories of him
and parsley.

you always have really interesting threads! i actually miss an old friend of mine back from when i was in heavy addiction. he was really supportive and had been a close friend for years. unfortunately, he himself fell into the dark world of addiction. he was so funny and compassionate, i really miss the bright and caring girl he brought out in me. i keep waiting to see him at a meeting heh i won't hold my breath.
