TOPIC: You Are Worth Staying Sober For
Hi im Sharon and Im an Alcoholic.
By the Grace of my HP and people
like you here in SR I havent found
it necessary to pick up a drink of
alcohol since 8-11-90.
For that and u I am truely grateful.
How about some Straight Thinking
here for a moment.......
If u go to ur 12x12 Step Traditions
book
there is a passage that reads........
Only by discussing ourselves, holding
back nothing, only by being willing to
take advice and accept direction
could we set foot on the road to
straight thinking, solid honesty, and
genuine humility.
For thought..... isnt that
worth staying sober for?

And isnt that what we are all after? I think most of us know what we want and deep down we know how to get there. Im glad there are some people who have gotten there and are willing to teach me and others.
