Crisis is over. Got my hot water tank fix and NYSEG turned our gas back on. Thank God. Now we can enjoy our Memorial day weekend.

Thank you for all your support everyone.

So glad this worked out.
Just a thought but now that you have some sobriety under your belt maybe this is an opportunity presenting itself to change some of your past roles.
Maybe you could help hubby with the bills and financial stuff?
He could probably use the help and appreciate the help.
Just a thought.
Have a great weekend!

Wow, funny how things turn out, who knows but it sounds as though the gas getting turned off was a blessing in diguise!!!

Sometimes our HP helps us even when we don't know we need the help!!! LOL

Great stuff, Barb. Way to go on setting such a shining example of recovery.

BTW, when I was married, many years ago, I used to hit my husband also. I say this only to show you that you aren't alone. Yes, it's embarrassing, but thank God we don't have to live like that anymore.

Yep, saw my sponser yesterday and she suggested the same thing. She was telling me that her and her husband had the same problems when she was in early sobriety.

Yep, thank God we don't live that way anymore. Life is good now even with the problems in life every now and then.

:ghug3: Barb...

What helps me..when I am down is to remember.."today", this one day..is all we have.

Any of us. The past is gone..and fear of tomorrow? Bah!

HP has that all taken care of..if I do today what I am supposed to do, and usually

it is very little...small steps.

Sending you prayers and positive thoughts, hun.

This gave me chills, Scaredy! Three summers ago here in Ocean City, MD an incorrectly installed water heater allowed carbon monoxide to leak into some guest rooms in one of our prominent motels. A family from Pennsylvania was sickened, and the 40 yr. old father & 10 yr. old daughter died as a result! The woman is now suing the hotel and the people who incorrectly installed the water heater for $30. million. in a wrongful death suit.
