Talking Perhaps the greatest invention of all time...

If you don't have a driver's liscence...

Motorino Electric Scooters - XPh

I think I've found my next ride for getting to work, AA, etc!

It's classed as a bicycle, and as such, doesn't need insurance, a liscence, road tax, ANYTHING!!

Taking out a loan on monday for sure!
Cheered me right up that did!

(sorry if it's in the wrong section, but I usually post here!)

Wow! I became so excited when I saw this!

I live in northern Italy, and just about everyone owns a motorino. They're affordable, easy to park, easy to maneuver, and they're also just as cute as can be. Whenever I go back to the states, I keep wondering why there isn't a bigger market for them, especially in the cities. They're really a wonderful way to get around.

I love the electric models. The gas versions are also quite reasonable, and they don't take much to run on.

Original, congrats on a great decision! Enjoy it!

I thought that was a sewing machine at first. :rotfxko I must admit those little scooters would make convenient city runarounds. Here in London they are becoming very popular.

Cool

Yup, they're cute, but not very feasible. Where I live, most places I visit are close enough to walk to (and my doctor really likes for me to walk....grrrrr).

Being like bicycles, these little darlings wouild need to be drivin in the streets (most folks don't realize it but bicycles must be ridden in streets and NOT on sidewalks----just a wee fyi, for here in Houston, anyway).

The speed limit, and these little cuties' kph/mph just wouldn't get along here. Their kph/mph as listed on their site is 32kph, which would be about 19/20mph, and that's just not enough power for most streets/roads here---the speed limit in most streets is 35mph, with many streets/roads having limits of 40-45mph. Houston is about the size of the state of Rhode Island (not a very big state, but a state none the less), and in order to get around to most places, one needs to go on the freeways/highways/motorways, and these li'll bubbas just wouldn't cut it.

I guess, like most Texans, I'll just have to stick with our pickemup trucks, our suv's, and our motorcycles (our Harley's, that is). I've also found that, like my mother, I've developed an inner ear problem, thus making riding/driving two-wheel cycles impossible.....grrrrr

But, for all y’all out there that can, I’d do it if I could.........goforit folks....!!!!!

Hopefully, if all goes funky-scratchings, I'll be getting one tomorrow!
Can't bloody wait, plus it carries two, so me and the missus can go for random bumbles on it periodically!

I'm thinking, white, then attach said retro british foglamps, and all the retro fittings. It even comes with a cigarette lighter for god's sake!

Now that's the higher power I'm talking about....

Talking

JUST BOUGHT IT!!!

Tis Red, and I got the dual battery pack, so it goes for 100 km, without running out! I'll post pics on tuesday when it's delivered!

It looks even better in real life than in the pics, and the horn is just plain cheeky.

Love it!
