AA here I come!

Im going to my first aa meeting today! It starts in 3 hours and im nervous as heck but excited as well. Im not too sure what to expect but wish me luck!

Yes my husband agreed to go with me as well. He is one of those "big tough guys" who says he can do it himself but he is going to support me and Im thrilled.

Well I made it through my first AA meeting yay! I am shocked at how nice everyone was and sooo willing to help in any way they could. I shared a bit of my story and could not help but get choked up as I spoke but noboby judged. Im going to keep going Thanks all for the encouragement to go!

Good job. I remember the first time I went. Just walking through the door and sitting down was the hardest part for me. Keep up the good work.

haha i started getting teary eyed the first time I shared as well, so much pain and sadness was stuffed in my body that needed to be released.
