Congrats on going to that first meeting, funny thing about how nice and willing to help AA folks are, but you know I have found that the greatest joy I find in recovery is helping another alcoholic get and stay sober.

Spaslave if you were given phone numbers at that meeting call them, beleive it or not, when you call a fellow AA for any reason or no reason you are helping them to stay sober just as much as they are helping you to stay sober.

AA is all about one alcoholic helping another alcoholic stay sober one day at a time.
