Our horselover has one year!!!!
One of the kindest & most helpful people on SR celebrates one year of sobriety today! Thanks for all the encouragement you've given to the group, and to me personally. Enjoy this day, my friend!

Thanks again and thanks Lisa for adding to this thread. I am so honored to know you people and I am so very grateful to have found this site a year ago. Tried many times on my own to stop, but SR and my family have made it more possible this time. The more defense I have had this time against the disease is what the difference was and the 24 hour method has definitely been my blessing more then once. I figure I can get through anything for 24 hours.
BTW - I woke up to the most beautiful pm from Jules today and I would like her and everyone to know what a special lady she has been to me. She has called me on the phone and we had a lovely conversation and through that conversation I realized what an insane disease this is. She is truly an important part of my recovery and a dear sister. Thanks Jules!
Everyone here on SR are great but some have gone the extra mile. Hevyn, you have helped me so much too. I enjoy receiving your emails and you have such a gift with writing. I think you should write a book and I'm not kidding. Hopefully you will come visit me someday. I have a lot of fun things to show you around here. Love you dear friend.
I want all SR people to meet one day. Wouldn't that be awesome or is it just me in thinking this? I love you all. Thanks for taking time out of your day to respond to this thread. I'm off to feed and milk some goats today and maybe make some cheese if time allows. This is how I will celebrate my one year anniversary and I'm not complaining in the very least. I LOVE my job and my friends here.

Congratulations Horselover. A year is the biggest milestone in my opinion. I have always enjoyed your input here. It is thoughtful and geared toward the poster.
