Early this morning I had a dream that I took a friend to a local mircobrewery – a place I used to visit a half-dozen times per year. They had a new beer available and were giving test samples. I willingly downed a couple of swallows at the test sample bar, then immediately felt terrible for breaking my sobriety. In the dream, I'd planned to purchase some beer in growlers or bottles, but didn't because of my remorse for imbibing at all. I was very happy when I woke up and realized I'm still sober (25 days.) Felt like a freebie second chance.

Hope this doesn't happen too frequently. Anyone else ever dream about drinking?

Hi Free, last night I dreamt I drank, when I woke up this morning I felt guilty and remorseful until I realised it was a dream. I have had this happen a few times and was talking to a friend at aa and she told me this is common in early recovery.

Hey folks. 28 days and survived a very challenging weekend. A party with a bunch of friends -- all of whom were knocking down the booze like there was no tomorrow. It was tough at the time, but today I absolutely DO NOT regret not drinking. Three days till I get a month under my belt!

Good work mate, you have got through a couple of really tough challenges lately, airport bars (they are killers for me) and a party. Keep up the good work and stay strong.
