Another loss
 

I went to a meeting today and heard of another AA member who went to a local park on Saturday and took his own life. I didn't know him real well, but had seen him at some meetings. He had joined a group that I usually go to every week. He was at the meeting last week and I didn't notice anything unusual about him or his mood. Others said they didn't either. I don't know any details but this is just another disaster of what can happen with this disease. This program is a life saver for me. It's a life or death disease we are dealing with. We just never know.

Please keep him (Tom) and his family/friends in your prayers if you are a praying person.
