Another new member!
Hello everyone. I am not new to recovery but I am new to this form of support via internet.
I am giving it yet another go! I only stopped drinking a couple of days ago.

I stopped just over a week ago and have found this forum a very valuable resource. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have been - there is a wealth of experience to be found here and a very diverse bunch of people.

This is a great resource for those quitting or trying to quit. If you just recently stopped drinking be sure to read the sticky on quitting and what to expect in the alcoholism section. Detox care be extremely dangerous without medical assistance.

Glad you found us! There is a tremendous amt of support here, 24/7, from people who understand what's going on because we've been there. I hope you'll share as much as you're comfortable with, keep reading around the different forums and if you get the urge to drink, get on here and share. . . let's us help you through it.
