Newcomer
Hello, I am a newcomer...AGAIN! This is my first chat room thing. I'm on here because I need to change. Something in addition to AA. I think its exciting to open my mind and heart to a whole world of people. I'm fresh off a a 4month binge after a year and a half of sobriety. So today is day 5. I feel glad there is someone here all the time.

Welcome to the family Grace. Maybe you're more convinced than ever to get off the rollercoaster - after your 4 mo. binge. For me, it took that one last trip to hell to finally get over the idea that I could control my drinking. Hope and happiness will return once again - let us know how it's going.

Here is my story as quickly as possible. In Jan. I decided after 18 mos of sobriety that I could control my drinking. Afterall, I had never really tried that before I got so bad I was going to seize if I didn't drink. So ever since Jan, my life has, of coarse, be going down the crapper. Especially my marriage which wasn't that stable to begin with. Anyway, I had a bad drunken episode and "WE" decided I shouldn't drink anymore. Well for the next week, I did anyway and finally my husband didn't believe my lies when he smelled it on me and went and breathalized me. Needless to say, I didn't pass. So he left and I went back to the store (with my 2 kids) to get another bottle. Yadda, yadda, yadda... My kids and I stayed with my parents and my brother for about a week and now I'm home again. I feel very anxious and I'm not happy to be with my husband and I'm really not that happy to be back at home. It might be because I have to do the work now. Anyway, I'm diving into my books and this sight to calm my anxiety. Thanks for listening guys.!!\
