i stopped drinking at the begining of the year and my partner about 7 weeks ago.3 weeks ago he put £1000 in a savings account! go figure.

It isn't the money, although my insurance really covered a lot of that (pain pills), it's the time and damage to my body that really "cost" me the most. It's taken me a year of very hard work to get the weight off from abusing those pills. I'm not talking about going from a size 4 to a size 2 either. The respect of my children and my husband. It's been a difficult two years, earning all the things that mean the most to me back is worth more than any $$$.

i chased specials on alcohol from bars, on top of a night cap in the trunk of my car, natural ice 7.50, (12), $30(minimum) x (4-5) days a week... $150 at least on bar booze in addition to 4-5 (12)packs a week to supplement. not to mention the "special" occasions.
