Topamax (Topiramate)
 

I was wondering if anyone has used Topamax to aide in their recovery?

I kind of stumbled on the alcoholism benefits inadvertently. My Doctor switched me to it as a new anti-seizure medication and one day last week I looked over at my husband and said I have not even thought about alcohol in about 4 days...not even a passing fleeting thought. Interesting.

yes, i've been using it. it was prescribed in an "off-label" way, for alcoholism...
so far, it's been working.
