Thank u amirose for sharing your story it really has helped. Today is day 7 and it is getting a little better. Im still battling the cravings but so far Im winning. Friday I was really a mess. I couldn't stop crying so finally I got down on my knees and prayed for help. Well, help come in the form of me getting up and taking the kids to the park. I picked flowers with my daughter and pushed my boys on the swings. I heard my childrens laughter and for the first time in a while I found myself smiling. I found peace for a short time. I will do this, I refuse to fail. I dont always feel this way sometimes I want to slip but that short high wouldnt last and it would leave me empty. I dont always feel strong but today is a good day. One day at a time, right?? TODAY IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!:praying

Sounds like you had a perfect day. How wonderful. Congratulations on your 7 days sober. Isn't it amazing how much we appreciate the little things in life now!
