I'm sooo excited today, I finally got up the guts and asked someone to sponsor me last night at my regular meeting... I feel so good today. I can't wait to start working with her on my steps.

I already did my 1st stp and started my 2nd step, but was told at another meeting that I couldn't do them without a sponsor.. I don't know if thats true, but I did and I think its ok. I've also heard that theres no right or wrong way to go through recovery. Now I'm a little confused.

Anyway I can't stop smiling today, I feel that my recovery is taking a new direction. I asked for what I needed and I never do that. Its kind of a big deal for me.
Anyway, just wanted to share that with my new online support group, I love you all and you all help me everyday. Thank you all! :ghug

Good news on finding a sponser!

I, too, just made a call this morning. I am hoping to find a sponser soon. I feel it is a necessary step to make this work. This site is awesome and is really helping me too!
