i'm feeling some pull towards the drugs....and also for a cigarette as i've been smoke free for 9 complete days now...

so i'm sitting at a meeting, early, as people now are starting to come in...

i'll be ok...just gotta work on my thinking. change my thinking. think about other things besides cigarettes and crack.

things went well...eventually fell asleep early watching an xfiles movie. which brings me to being up now. it's nice. peaceful. this morning.

Congrats on 98 days! And might I add that I NEEDED to read your post. I, too, am a crack addict (though I will often just refer to myself as a crackhead). 70 days clean. But your 98 days is an inspiration to me, especially right now, when the addiction is telling me that it will be OK to get high, just one more.. blah blah blah bull crap.
I am feeling stronger, since logging on tonight. Much better. THANK YOU for posting your clean time.
The cigs, on the other hand.. Ugh.. I haven't been able to give those bad boys up yet! Congrats on that too. I made a go of it, for a week, and didn't get very far on cigarettes. But I hope to be in the good spot with them too, one day!

and I'm so thankful for all of your responses and kindness towards me and inspiration and support.

yesterday I had a tremendous urge for crack and a cigarette, AND I took action...recovery actions.

first i watched a movie...after the movie was over i had urge again but it was not as strong.

then I went to a meeting.

then I hung out at the alano club

then I went to yoga

then I went home and was in for the night.

this morning I feel well grounded and content with my corner of the universe and also content with the entire universe itself. thankful that I am crack, cigarette, and alcohol free.
