Thumbs up Marley & Me movie

Wow! Did anyone watch the movie, Marley & Me?

Okay, I promise not to spoil the movie but my life is almost exactly like John Grogan all the way up to his birthday. It's TRUE! I don't keep up with friends, anymore. I can see myself one day, I hope, that I will have a new career, move to a larger home, and have a new life.

Thanks for asking. I will go to my first AA meeting, tonight. I am just right in the middle of chaos just like in the movie, except it's even messier.

Haven't seen it yet, read the book and it was great. He was a columnist for the Phila. Inquirer - I love his writing. His new book is The Longest Trip Home, about growing up - nothing to do with dogs in that one. Keep visiting SR, maybe your life will settle down and make sense. Nice to see you here.

I just watched it for the first time last night. It was good.
Is it suppose to be in black and white?
Maybe thats what happens when you burn it from netflix.
Anyway..I was ready to sell this puppy because I was getting really frustrated with her. Not going to the bathroom outside. Ripping stuff up and chasing my cat and barking like crazy at her. She has been taking the cat crap out of the litter box and dragging it all over the house. I was getting mad.
But after seeing that movie. And waking up to her sleeping right next to me all night. And coming home after a hard day of work. And walking in the door and this tiny little bouncy thing. So happy and excited to see me. I changed my mind.
She will teach me patience. And alot of it.
I cant bring myself to get rid of her.
And the part where they are at the Dr. And they didnt find the heartbeat.
That hit me really hard. That was the exact scenario for me in 96. I mean exactly. I had to get up and walk in the other room for a minute.
