Thank you again SR...
I feel its time to thank everyone at SR for everything they do to make this place what it is.
I know we have all noticed some added forums and features lately.
We were asked not too long ago to voice our opinions on what we thought would or could make our experience here a better one.
In the end there was quite a list.
And not too long afterwards we are already seeing results from that list.
Every now and then we post threads thanking the Admininistrators, Forum leaders, Mods, Greeters, Chat monitors , Owners, Tech people, Members, Behind the scenes and in front. All who have anything and everything to do with making SR what it is.
Most.. if not all of which have very busy personal lives. And yet still find the time to come here to make sure it is a safe and enjoyable place to visit.
Not to mention all the time put into information for anyone seeking it. All the technical issues we come across. Even the littlest requests get noticed.
Thank you for all your hard work and dedication.
I for one dont know what I would do without SR.
And its all the people here that make it so special.
All the passion and loyalty put into this site is outstanding.
Thank you everyone for all that you do.

I too am grateful to have this safe place to come to, any time of the day or night. It makes such a wonderful difference in my life and my recovery! :ghug3 and

What to say, Trish. No one comes here because they are denying or avoiding their issues. No one comes here because they have complete control over their lives or those of their loved ones.
There is no other place on the Web like this place. I know, I've looked. A lot. And it is in great measure due to a well thought out "mission" and the moderators who carry it out on a daily basis. Stuff does occasionally "get out of hand," and people are hurt. I've had a few comments "censored" myself. I didn't always agree. I never intend to hurt anyone.
But, a few lost posts is trivial compared to the "whole" that is here. It is the result of the "mission," the caring moderators, and of course, the people here. Where else could a bunch of addicts run the most "peaceful" discussion forum on the internet? I stay the h*ll away from just about every discussion group on the web. I've seen physicians, professors, people of "faith," scientists, etc, descend into preschool behavior with each other.When this place does, it isn't for long...

As MG said, you members ARE SR. And the word must be out because they keep coming and coming.
I read this today and smiled...
It wasn't long ago we got about 500 a day and thought that was a lot.
Thank you for the kind words, and thank you for being more than members here, for being "family". I love my SR family, it keeps me sane most days.
