I'm glad you posted this topic Rowan.

My sponsor suggested screaming into a pillow, so I did.

Not too loudly tho, just in case some heard.

Yelling's a different story altogether tho. lol

I beleive I have shared this before, if not well I guess this is the first time here! LOL

I used to hold things inside until something came up that warranted (In my mind) the need to raise my voice, well for some reason once I let the cork out of the bottle it all would come out!!!! Woe be the poor person that was present when the cork POPPED!!!!

On occession now when the urge to LET IT OUT arises, I wait until I am home alone and step out into the garage, no one lives with in ear shot of the back of my palce so I just let LOOSE!!!! Sometimes just a few screams/hollers release that pent up what ever and I feel better, other times I may sceam/holler until I lose my voice..... but the pent up frustration/anger is released and releif is achieved.

Once this is achieved I am able to sit still and ponder the cause of this and address it in a calm manner with out hurting any one or myself! LOL

In a car, out in the boat, where ever once it is out I can deal with it.
