I had had a miserable few years, and I think it was close to three months before I felt like the kind of person I wanted to be.

never thought to label it anything really, i just don't drink anymore. I feel better and better the further away I am from that last drink, and I think what really shifted for me was when I stopped focusing on the "I wont drink" part every day, and started really just living my life without alcohol being any part of it. I had to let go to move on, and I have never felt happier.
