I am a huge fan of Michael J Fox (Mike to his family and friends, only his grandmother called him Michael. And...J is not his middle initial). Like I said, huge fan. I remember that his son was born 3 days after my son. Thanks for letting me know about the second book.
Sorry I missed him on Oprah. I really would have loved to see that. I actually looked at his book last night on my book shelf thinking I should read it again.
His fight for a cure for Parkinson's disease has been nothing short of remarkable. Although it is sad that he seemed to have so much optimism in the fight for brain cell research and I find it sad that we may not find cure in his lifetime.
It is so ironic that he was always typecast into roles of boys much younger than himself, that he looked so much younger than he was and yet he's suffering with this disease that we look at as an older person's disease.
When I saw your post Michael J Fox I was afraid to open it. I was scared of what you were going to tell us.
He is my hero. The one celebrity I would truely like to meet.
