Your meds are as important as food. You need them. Can you ask your doctors about getting samples until the financial situation resolves a bit? There's got to be a way to work something out. And see if your husband will talk to a pastor about the ammo-end of days things. This worries me a lot.

Meds are not a luxery-they're a necessity.I'm sorry but him spending 100 on ammo and you're supposed to give up your meds?That is NOT okay.Not by a long shot.
Please get some help.Your last threads here have really worried me too.Your husband isn't getting better and it's a form of abuse to take these options off you.He's isolating you from your supports and it's just wrong.
I truly hope you get the help you need with the disability allowance.The rest?I don't know what to suggest.We can't know how bad it is for you there really but I can imagine. Having worked with abused women for a year in a shelter here, I really fear for you.Abuse takes many forms-it's not just physical and the emotional stuff can be even more crippling.Please don't be afraid to ask for help.It's out there.

I just phoned in my prescription for the $140 med. I called and told my husband that I needed it tomorrow. He said that he didn't know if there was enough money in the HCA account; if not he said he would figure out how to get it. No guilt trip, no nonsense. If only it were always this easy......

Kaiser does not distribute samples. I was thinking of asking my doctors if they could give me a higher dosage of pills that I could cut in half... Has anyone heard of this? Is it illegal?
