Hi there, 14 days sober thanks to my neuro,cause I have "ATAXIA" andalcohol removal will almost cure me..But,thats not all it will help with,try:black-outs,bad manners,stupidity and just plain damm DRUNK.

Hi OZboy, welcome to SR. Congratulations on deciding to get sober and great job on 14 days!! You're in good company here, lots of help whenever you need it.
Look around, there's lots of great support here for AA, non-AA, secular, religious... really anyone! I'll warn you though it's Sunday night here and the boards can get pretty quiet, but there's still a few people around. Welcome again.

Thanks for your support, I believe it aint too easy,SR and shear commitment might
however, be the answer.{also taking Naltrexone for the next 10 weeks}.

Good luck, I am 29 days today and found the first week the toughest. Just try and keep yourself busy, both mentally and physically. I have found its when I have time on my hands that I start hanging for a beer.
