I also really want to learn cross stitiching. I tried a little but got aggravated.
Maybe I should try somehting else.
I want to get back into art somehow again. I use to do alot when I was in school. Alot of my stuff was in Art fairs. I still have some of my art works from then.

I lost the imagination or creativity in my addiction it seems tho.

I love animals, but my faves are wild cats. I take every chance to be near a tiger, lion, leopard, etc. I have held a baby tiger and a baby leapord and fed them both.



This is a little different, but my youngest daughter and I recently got inside a cage with a 900lb. black bear(while he was tranquilized and sound asleep) and got to take a pic with him too. He was soft like a teddy bear.

I am a workout freak I love to lift weights, run, ski, anything that makes me tired.
I am also ADHD and OCD So I am always doing laundry at work and with homelife, I actually find chores and music to be settling and it calms my verves when i do Dishes. This works great while working in a group home with kids.

I have four kids with two birthdays. My youngest was born on my oldests birthday and then of course the twins have the same b-day.

I also love to garden...I can hardly wait to get out in the dirt.

What a great thread.. I wanna do some of the things you guys are doing, but here is what I love to do..

Physical stuff - I swim a lot (pools and lakes).. and bike for transportation and X-R-cise.. and do yoga and pillates every week..
And read a lot but not enough based on the 3' tall stack of books in my to-be-read pile
Grow vegetables and fruit - eat from our garden all year and love to cut flowers too.. lucky to live in an all-year growing climate..
And I spend time with my adult daughter whenever I can.. a good friend
And be with close friends
And lately the most important thing I do is regular sobriety stuff like SR, reading and journal writing which right now is working and I am soooooooooo grateful that it is because drinking sucks!

I was painfully shy as a child. I have faced many challenges, made a million mistakes. At this point in my life I am concentrating on me. Who I am, why I am here and what it means. I'm finally not concerned with what others think about who I am. I've always said that but now I can say it with honesty. I drive an old toyota tercel and I love it. I'm learning to keep things simple. I don't care much for material things. I've been vegan for 2 years and it has changed my life.
I'm trying to learn to meditate but I haven't been able to master it yet.
And I have a big scar on my scalp from when I got my hair caught in a drill press while working in a candle factory. I am fortunate that someone was there to quickly turn it off.

I love water! My favorite place to be is on the lake on my sisters boat. I love laying in the pool. When possible just live in my swimsuit all summer long!
