What the hell!!!!!
What the hell am i doing....
I went to a meeting today.... it was good... lots of questions answered.
So i was feeling good... then
I have to meet someone from work before i start work... what do i do... i walk into a pub... to wait.
I ordered some lunch... so thats what im doing and instead of walking out i am typing here....
I need to see if i cant do this... why i need to put myself through this i do dont know...
Maybe i am a masochst.....
Anyway i am gonna sign off now... cos you know what... i can do this... i need to leave... where that bright idea came fro i ont know... ut i wont be doing it again

You were probably just testing yourself to see if you could handle it and now you have your answer.
When I worked for Sony we had an acronym SONY. It was an answer to the question "When can I expect my Playstations?" It means Soon Only Not Yet.
This is where I am with bars and it sounds like so are you. Best to avoid them.

I assume you have heard the old saying "Go to a barber shop enough and eventually you will get a haircut!" Glad you decided to leave, that can be a test easily failed in early sobriety.
I have only sat in a bar a few times since I have been sober & that was with my wife to eat dinner and we did not sit at the bar itself, sitting away from the bar made quite a bit of difference.
