Day 3 for me...
Day 3 for me...
Just wanted to come in here and say day 3 for me.
It's a little hard because my hubby and I lost our jobs back october 2008, we both been there (at the same company) for a little over 18 years.
Since we lost our jobs we also had to give up our bikes (he had a motorcycle and I had a scooter), we could no longer afford the payments.
Riding our bikes was one of our passions and we rode where ever hearts desired. It was sort of like therapy on two wheels...lol.
We are going crazy today because it's soo nice out and we want to ride again...Uggggg! I know, it's not the end of the world....but I sure do miss my bike.
I'm ok other than that...I'm not drinking, just a little bored and restless.
Thanks for listening.
XOXO

I guess that we could go out for a walk...but it's still nothing like the open road...lol
Plus, since we aren't working, I feel that we do an awfully lot of pacing within our own home.
I found a smiley riding a motorcycle but I can't seem to add it in my post.

Congrats, ADAAT on 3 days. As far as riding motorcycles, I've done it a few times and you are right. It is a cool experience each and every time you ride. I dont have a bike right now, myself, but would like to look into getting one as soon as this economy can stabilize a little. Taking a walk was a good suggestion, but if I were you, I would look for nature parks that you could go hiking at in your area. Not just walk around the block. Make it adventerous. Hiking is great exercise and very entertaining when exploring a place for the first time.
