When was your last drink?

Are there AA meetings where you are?

Do you have or can you obtain a copy of the book "Alcoholics Anonymous?"

Send me a private message if you want to.

Hi and Welcome,

It's possible that you might be able to find a sponsor here, but you would likely be better off by finding AA meetings near you.

I hope you keep reading and posting.

Hi there,
Sure... you could get help on here and even suggestions regarding how to work the steps, but my experience is face to face sponser. I would have been afraid of dishonesty creeping back in ,if my sponser was not able to see my face and my reactions to situations. my tone of voice, the expression on my face often told her more about my illness than anything I said.

Anna is right, the internet cannot replace face-to-face contact, but keep posting here. We'll help as much as we can. We can anwer questions you may have about AA or the 12 Steps.

Follow the link Carol provided. Perhaps that might help you to find a real live human sponsor in your country.
