Sober For 16 Months
I am an alcoholic and have been sober for 16 months. I found out that I could only do this after asking for help within AA and working the steps. I am very interested in learning from others and sharing my experiences. I have special interest and respect for others with different viewpoints on sobriety and spirituality. I find that I can learn the most from others that think differently than me....... What the heck that's how I got sober!
SR is my biggest support in sobriety right now, I also do a lot of reading and I believe in my higher power. Glad to have you with us!

Strong work on 16 months. I'm closing in on 2 months, and have done it mainly through research, prayer and this site. Have not tried AA, but would in heart beat if my current regime/applications failed. Continue to read and post here often.
