Two weeks tomorrow, who'd a thunk it?

For an old drunk like me, two weeks is incredible. I'm even starting to like not having hangovers or empty pockets when I awake.

Thanks for helping me begin to find my way by stopping in here and being part of your group.

Actually, I was wrong the last time I drank was February 20. That's fifteen days today.

I hope my head gets better soon, lol.

Thanks Anna.

Maybe as sobriety sinks in, I'll remember how to count, lol.

Hey thanks all you guys and gals,

I'm presently in the process of making a huge crockpot full of homemade beef stew. I'll save some for ya.

Funny, I haven't cooked in a long time, mainly because the sink was always too full, but all of the dishes are done and the place smells great, with a mouth-watering aroma floating thru the air. Yep, life is much better without alcohol polluting my head.

Thanks again all for your help and support.

Absolutely great news, firestorm. Congratulations, and it sounds like you're really getting the benefits already. I so hope you enjoy that beef stew - I'm not allowed red meat until I get my blood pressure down!! LOL So, definitely have some for me....
